Pacefeeder “Net Grid”

Description

The ‘Net grid’ was originally designed for a customer who used steamed hay. The nets are attached to a metal frame, it uses the same mechanism as the regular grid.

We use a braided knotless net material, strong but softer on the mouth, they are handmade to order. There are two hole sizes available: 45 mm  and 60 mm.

Our understanding is the horse uses its prehensile lips to grasp and tear the hay not its teeth – like any net some horses will bite the material.

“Unless your horse has used a ‘small hole’ net before we recommend horses start with the 60 mm net, to avoid possible frustration. You can choose either size.”
